Considering the poetics of idleness and passing, the everyday encapsulates a sojourn. Filled with familiarity and banality, the stillness of movement writes a memento. Ephemerally, impressions stand like temples of salt, and structures fall only to be remembered by their trace. Within an epoch that is both far away and relatively close, provisional gestures refer to the sacredness of emblems and their synecdoche.
